Community Programs Office (CPO)

The CPO Food Closet is located in the Student Activities Center Level 1 (east wing). Students can pick up free food Monday through Friday during these times: 9AM to 4PM. They can also pick up toiletries Monday through Friday during these times: 8AM to 8PM.

ECRT Meal Voucher Program

The UCLA Emergency Meal Program provides meal swipes and ASUCLA meal tickets to support students experiencing food insecurity. For more details, visit UCLA Swipe Out Hunger or contact the program by email or phone.

Bruin Dine

Bruin Dine is a student-run organization that combats food waste and food insecurity by recovering unused food from UCLA dining halls and redistributing it to students and staff. Food recovery events take place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m. in the Student Activities Center during weeks 1-10 of each quarter. 

580 Cafe

580 Cafe offers several free resources to students to support their basic needs. Fresh produce, non-perishable food, and grocery cards are available to students facing food security concerns.

Westwood Food Cooperative

The Westwood Food Cooperative aims to address food justice by providing affordable produce to students and supporting local farmers. Their main initiative is a weekly Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) box, which offers seasonal produce sourced from small-scale farms. The cooperative also organizes educational and community events, such as potlucks and discussions on food systems, and is dedicated to raising awareness on food justice issues through UCLA initiatives.
